"Situated in the heart of West Lulworth village, a stone s throw from Lulworth Cove is this pretty thatched cottage. It is built in 1977 on the site of two nissan huts that had been used during the Second World War, Lulworth having historic links with the armed forces since the time of Napoleon Bonaparte. Part of a terrace of 3 similar cottages, the inclined rear garden which runs along the bottom of Bindon Hill has wonderful sea and coastal views.

Steps lead up to the decked area and thatched front porch. Step through into the Entrance Hall which gives access to the ground floor accommodation and stairs to the first floor.

The large open plan SITTING DINING ROOM has a south facing bay window to the front and full width patio doors which open onto the rear garden. This is a light and airy room, which is ideal for entertaining family and friends. There is an open fireplace, which is not presently used.

The KITCHEN is accessed from the dining area and the hallway and is fitted with wall and floor units and the necessary white goods for modern day living. It is a good sized space with windows to front and side bringing in lots of light. The back door gives access to the rear garden. Off the hallway is a useful ground floor Cloakroom with W.C., and wash basin.

The stairs rise to the first floor sleeping quarters, where there are two good sized DOUBLE BEDROOMS, one looking towards Stair Hole and the other looking over the rear garden towards Bindon Hill. There is a smaller SINGLE BEDROOM which has views to the front towards Stair Hole. Usefully, there is also an airing cupboard on the landing.

This is a surprisingly light, airy home which offers sea views from the garden and is a stones throw from the beach Lulworth Cove and a bracing walk over Hambury Tout to the world famous beach and arch at Durdle Door.

Outside
Access to the front of the cottage is via stone steps and onto a front garden that is bordered by mature hedging, giving perfect privacy for early morning coffee while discreetly watching the world go by! A path runs along the side of the garden and into the rear courtyard area. Steps take you up to the Rear Garden, which sits on the side of Bindon Hill, its incline catches the sun and with some green fingered assistance would allow for some serious sunbathing and people watching. It also offers some wonderful sea and coastal views.

Investment
This property has historically been a family home and an investment property as a long let and, more recently as an Air b&B. Suggested income available.

Location
This is an amazing opportunity to have a superb cottage right in the heart of the village of Lulworth Cove, between Bindon and Hambury Hills and the sea. Easy walking distance of the Cove and Durdle Door and the other hidden beaches of the Jurassic Coast.

Lulworth Cove lies on the breathtaking Jurassic Coast, just over the hill from the iconic Durdle Door and two miles from Lulworth Castle. Corfe Castle and the sandy beaches of Swanage and Studland are a short drive away. Just eight miles distant is the riverside town of Wareham, where there is a mainline rail link to London Waterloo, as well as a popular independent cinema, and a variety of shops, eateries and well regarded schools.
