There is a good sized, lovely garden to the rear. The cottage is situated in the heart of the village, just over 100 metres from the village shop. The countryside around the village offers great scope for walkers with plenty of footpaths in all directions. Thorncombe lies in the corner of Dorset near to the Somerset and Devon borders and offers a strong local community with many clubs and events being held throughout the year and benefits from a community run village shop/post office/cafe, village hall with lots of activities, Sports & Social Club with cricket and football teams, a Church, a Chapel and a Primary School in the Woodroffe pyramid.
