Hillcrest was constructed in approximately 1937-1938 and occupies a delightful location being within easy reach of all local amenities. Upon entering the house there is a good size entrance porch and a panelled and glazed door leading to the reception hall with cloakroom and shelved storage cupboard/pantry. The drawing room and separate dining room are of similar proportions and are both situated to the rear of the house having a southerly aspect with views over the garden. The kitchen/breakfast room features ample base units and eye level cupboards together with Aga and split level cooker. In the breakfast area there is ample room for a table and the gas boiler is situated in a recess with drying cupboard over. A door from the kitchen leads to a good size utility room with rear door leading to the driveway. From the breakfast area an archway leads to the study which lies to the front and double aspect sitting room which has patio doors to the conservatory. From the reception hall a dogleg staircase leads to the first floor landing with access trap with folding ladder to the loft space. The principal bedrooms are to the rear of the house and have glimpses of the Purbeck Hills. Bedroom one has a new en suite shower room with quadrant shower, WC and wash hand basin and return door to the landing. Bedroom four has access to a useful store room. The family bathroom with panelled bath, wash hand basin and WC is of an excellent size. At the front of the property there is an in-and-out driveway with well stocked bed. The driveway extends to the detached double garage with electric up and over door and adjacent cycle store. The rear garden is a delightful feature of the property and the whole plot extends to approximately two thirds of an acre. To the immediate rear, there is a paved patio with rockery and a few steps lead to two lawned areas on two levels beyond which there is a further lawned area interspersed with a number of fruit trees, kitchen garden and screening along the rear boundary. There are a number of shrubs flanking the lawns including Azaleas, Rhododendron and evergreen hedging.

DIRECTIONS:

From Broadstone Centre proceed to the Clarendon Road roundabout and take the third exit into Higher Blandford Road. At the Springdale Road traffic lights turn left and then take the fourth turning on the right into High Park Road. Hillcrest will be found on the left hand side.
