SITUATION The property is situated outside the small West Dorset village of Mosterton, close to the Somerset border and surrounded by lovely countryside. The village is home to the Admiral Hood pub and St Mary's Church, as well as a village shop. There is also the Parrett and Axe Primary School from which children continue to Beaminster Comprehensive. Others schools in the area include Perrott Hill, Sherborne, Kings and Queens at Taunton and Colyton Grammar School. Nearby Crewkerne offers most local amenities and a direct rail link to London Waterloo. The A303 trunk road from the South West to London is within easy reach and the M5 (J25) can be found at Taunton. Sporting facilities in the area include horse racing at Wincanton, Exeter and Taunton, golf at Chedington, Halstock and Bridport.
