"LUSCOMBE MAYE TOWN & VILLAGE HOMES - Overlooking an attractive 4 acres of orchard, deciduous plantation and a large lake, a detached barn conversion and outbuildings.

HOW TO GET THERE TQ9 7HZ. Halwell is midway between Totnes, Kingsbridge and Dartmouth (all 6 miles) on the A381 and Chittleburn Mill Barn is a mile to the north of the village. Leave Totnes on the A381 and pass through Harbertonford. Chittlesford Mill Barn is a mile after Harbertonford and on the right. HALWELL Halwell is a small village but has a long history, having been one of the four burhs of Devon in the tenth century, only to be superseded by Totnes 100 years or so later. In the village are the 15th century St Leonard's Church and the Old Inn. The village is equidistant of Totnes, Dartmouth and Kingsbridge. The sea is within about ten minutes and Dartmoor twenty. There is a primary school and a village shop at Harbertonford and a full choice of facilities at Totnes including a Paddington line station.
