SITUATION Woodford is a small hamlet of just a handful of properties, half a mile or so from Blackawton, a delightful village which nestles amongst the rolling countryside of the South Hams. The village has a strong community with a highly-regarded primary school, community shop, village hall, parish church and two popular public houses, the George Inn and Normandy Arms.
