" 3a Danby Heights is a superb and spacious two double bedroom duplex apartment which needs to be viewed to be fully appreciated. Located in the highly desirable Wellswood area of Torquay the property enjoys an elevated position in a peaceful and tranquil setting with stunning far reaching sea views over Lincombe woods.
The property is located off the picturesque Lincombe Drive with a sweeping private road then winding upwards providing access to a small and secluded community.
A front door opens into an entrance hall which is shared with one other apartment. This area benefits from a private storage cupboard ideal for your outdoor apparel. A second door opens into an internal entrance hall with the stairs leading to the first floor. As you go up to the first floor the first thing that strikes you is what a light and bright home this is. On this floor is the sitting/dining room and a bathroom. The sitting/dining room is a space that really delivers the 'wow' factor offering an incredible amount of living space coupled with breathtaking sea views. The rear of the room is nearly all glass with a balcony beyond taking full advantage of the vista. This is a fantastic entertaining space whilst also being one where you can quietly enjoy the natural beauty of your surroundings.
There is also a good size and stylishly finished bathroom next to the living room and then steps leading up to the next level where the kitchen is located as well as a good size storage cupboard. The kitchen is a really good size space which has been finished in a contemporary style with an abundance of both base and eye level white gloss units and granite effect worktops. The room also benefits from an eye level double oven, gas hob with extractor above, one and a half bowl stainless steel sink with window above and space for a fridge freezer and washing machine. There is also a breakfast bar with space for two bar stools making this room a social space when you are preparing and cooking food.
A further flight of steps lead up to the third level on which can be found the master bedroom, bathroom and utility room. The master bedroom is another 'wow' room enjoying the same aspect as the sitting/dining room. It is an incredibly grand room easily accommodating a double bed and sofa and also benefits from large built in wardrobes. However, again it is the view that sets this room apart with the entire rear wall being glass to take full advantage of the vista. The room also benefits from a balcony and one can imagine being sat out here enjoying a morning coffee and pastry from the french bakery in Wellswood village or alternatively late at night whilst star gazing.
The family bathroom is a really good size and is again stylishly decorated with a matching white suite and mains shower over the bath. Completing this floor is a good size utility room with plenty of storage space. A final flight of stairs leads up to the second bedroom which is another really good size double room which again benefits from large built in wardrobes.
The location of the property is perfect with the lovely Meadfoot beach only being a five minute walk away through the woods whilst the lovely Wellswood village with a deli, french bakery, Co-op, pharmacy, post office and other independent shops as well as the Kent's pub and other places to eat and socialise is only a ten minute walk away.
