South Coombe Farm is 1 mile east of Witheridge in the heart of rural Devon. The impressive main house is an original 16th Century Grade II Listed Devon longhouse with a thatched roof and it forms the central core of the cottage complex. All of the cottages have been created from the original buildings and have been developed to an extremely high standard. In 2006 the present owners created a new leisure facility incorporating an indoor swimming pool, Finnish sauna, gymnasium and changing facilities. There is also a games room and these additions have proved extremely beneficial in generating cottage lettings. All of the holiday cottages are Graded 4* or 5* by Visit Britain and have been fitted out with modern facilities. Each cottage also benefits from its own seating/patio area. There is a further stone outbuilding which may be suitable for development. The whole site occupies around 14.6 acres and includes a childrens play area, paddocks and a stream
