A most attractive four/five bedroom barn conversion developed in the early 1980`s and situated with several other similar properties in Knowle Park, adjacent to the historic Knowle Manor House, a truly delightful location . The Property enjoys peace, quiet and the most delightful semi-rural aspect with fine countryside views.

"Tall Oak Barn" offers particularly well proportioned and versatile accommodation, having considerable character with the main reception rooms and kitchen on the first floor. The property would provide a splendid family home, spacious retirement home or indeed second home.

Sidford village and good local amenities are available approximately one mile away, whilst Sidmouth town centre, esplanade and sea is just over two miles.


Sidmouth
Sidmouth is a prosperous seaside town, which nestles in the sheltered valley between the red cliffs overlooking Lyme Bay, which forms part of the Jurassic coastline, England's first natural world heritage site. Sidmouth, once a popular and fashionable resort for the Victorians and Edwardians including the young Queen Victoria, has a rich blend of Regency and Victorian buildings.

Sidmouth, today, has an excellent range of amenities including an extensive shopping centre, large supermarket, cinema, theatre, library and modern health centre. There is also a sports hall with a gym and indoor swimming pool as well as excellent facilities for sailing, golf, and indoor and outdoor bowls. There are also thriving cricket and rugby clubs. There are several primary schools, a community college and churches of various denominations. The lovely beaches at Sidmouth or nearby Branscombe and Ladram Bay are particularly beautiful. The cathedral city of Exeter, M5 motorway (junction 30) and Exeter international airport lie approximately 15 miles north west of Sidmouth and numerous pretty villages intersperse the wonderful surrounding countryside, which is a walker`s delight.


Directions
From Sidford village centre, proceed in an easterly direction on the A3052. Passing the Blue Ball in on your left hand side. Take the next turning on your left into Harcombe Lane East, then second right sign posted to Boswell Farm. Continue for approximately half mile, passing t over the two cattle grids. Continue up the drive and uphill around to your right. Turn left just before the gates marking the entry to Knowle House and follow the road for 50 yards round to the right into Tall Oak Barn.
