"Occupying a delightful location in the highly sought after and desirable Stoke Damerel Conservation Area, is this imposing double fronted Victorian mid-terrace residence, built in about 1890. The excellent range of local facilities include the nearby Stoke Village, parkland, Stoke Damerel Primary School, Devonport High School for Boys, Stoke Damerel Community College and regular public transport to the City Centre, some two miles distant. The property has a wealth of Victorian period features including fireplaces, stripped pine floors and doors, picture and dado rails, mouldings and coved ceilings. The spacious accommodation is arranged on three floors and comprises an entrance hallway, a sitting room with feature fireplace, interconnecting family room and dining room, and a study/bedroom 5. In about 2005, a quite exceptional and luxurious kitchen/breakfast room was added which incorporates imaginative use of skylights with an adjoining utility room. On the upper two floors are four double bedrooms, a bathroom and a separate shower room with w.c. The property has been sympathetically and thoughtfully modernised and has gas fired central heating, uPVC double glazing and a retiled roof. We understand various damp and timber treatments have also been carried out. To the rear of the property is a good size walled courtyard garden, which is a delightful feature of this property.
