"An individual former lodge house located in this private semi-rural location on the outskirts of Okehampton town. Kitchen/breakfast room, sitting room with multi fuel burner, hallway, 2 bedrooms & bathroom with shower. Pretty mature gardens. Parking & carport. EPC Band E.

SITUATION The property is situated towards the northern edge of Okehampton town, off of Upcott Hill, in a private semi-rural location yet within easy walking distance of the town's amenities. Okehampton has a good range of services and three supermarkets which include a Waitrose, a range of locally and nationally owned shops and businesses together with schooling from infant to sixth form level. The town has a modern hospital together with a state of the art leisure centre in the attractive setting of Simmons Park. From the town there is direct access via the A30 dual carriageway to the cathedral and University City of Exeter, with its M5 motorway, mainline rail and international air connections. The Dartmoor National Park is well known for its hundreds of square miles of superb unspoilt scenery, whilst the Tarka Trail is easily accessible from Exbourne with its riding, walking and cycling. In addition, the north coasts of Devon and Cornwall are within easy driving distance with some attractive beaches and delightful coastal scenery. DESCRIPTION The Lodge is an appealing and individual mature residence, formerly being the lodge house for the neighbouring Upcott House, which is currently run as a guest house, but in years past as a former school.
