The popular village of Chillington has a traditional shop/post office, a good pub serving excellent food, a first class health centre and a regular bus service running between Kingsbridge and Dartmouth. It is about one and a half miles from the beach at Torcross. The pretty market town of Kingsbridge is four and a half miles away and has a good range of independent shops, two supermarkets, a leisure centre with pool and a local hospital.
