"An extended detached bungalow in quiet cul-de-sac in popular East Devon village. 5 bedrooms, 3 bath/shower rooms, 3 reception rooms, kitchen/breakfast room, utility and conservatory. Gardens. Off road parking.

SITUATION Oakview is set on the fringes of the popular East Devon village of Woodbury. The village has a good range of everyday amenities including post office/stores, garage, primary school, two pubs and a fine church. Woodbury Common where there are many walks and superb scenery, is only a short distance away as is Woodbury Park Golf & Country Club. The attractive and busy Exe estuary town of Topsham with its restaurants and specialist shops is also just a short distance away, whilst the larger coastal resorts of Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton lie five and six miles distant respectively.   The university and cathedral city of Exeter, with its wide range of amenities and facilities befitting a centre of its importance, including excellent shopping, dining, theatre and sporting and recreational amenities, lies eight miles to the west, and has mainline railway stations to London Paddington and Waterloo. Exeter International Airport lies four miles to the east of the city. DESCRIPTION Oakview is a detached bungalow, originally dating from the 1960s, and sitting in a cul-de-sac towards the fringes of the village, near the fine church. In 1998, the current owners undertook a comprehensive schedule of extension, and now offers versatile and spacious accommodation that would suit a range of uses. As the floor plan details, the property is effectively split into two main parts, both having separate access. This makes it ideal for multi-generational living, and even potential Bed and Breakfast opportunities.   The original part of the bungalow has a separate front door leading to the reception hallway off which are three bedrooms, one of which has an ensuite shower room, together with a family bathroom and utility room. OUTSIDE The property sits in a level plot backing onto fields, and sitting in a cul-de-sac with little passing traffic. The property is approached via a gravelled driveway with ample off road parking. The front garden is level and laid mainly to lawn and bordered with a range mature shrubs and hedges. There is pedestrian access down either side of the property, two greenhouses and timber garden shed.   The rear garden comprises a paved patio area together with raised timber-decked seating area adjoining the two sitting rooms. At the roundabout turn left onto the B3179 signposted Budleigh Salterton. upon entering Woodbury continue into the village centre, turning left up Greenway. After 50 yards turn left past The White Hart pub, proceed up the street keeping the church on the left and after a few hundred yards turn left into Broadmead and the property can be found on the right.
