"PRICE REDUCED A very spacious first floor apartment within this impressive looking building that is position on the edge of Drewsteignton Village Square. Location Drewsteignton is a highly sought after Dartmoor National Park village lying within the Teign Valley approximately 13 miles from Exeter and 9 from Okehampton. The picturesque village is centered around a pretty square which has a mix of period thatched cottages and slate roofed houses, an ancient church, general grocers store/post office, and a well-regarded thatched public house, the Drewe Arms. The spectacular Castle Drogo (National Trust) is located on the extreme outskirts of the village set above the Teign Gorge and was the last castle to be built in England. Within walking distance of the village is a local beauty spot, Fingle Bridge which is situated beside the river Teign. Drewsteignton also has a public car park, and an excellent community play area/open space ideal for children and families.There are good links to Okehampton and Exeter via the A30 where more extensive amenities can be found. Directions From Okehampton take the eastern exit and join the A30 dual carriageway. Take the first exit and follow the road around to the left and turning right at the T-Junction. Proceed along this road until reaching a mini roundabout. Take the first left signposted Chagford and Moretonhamptead. After approximately 3 miles turn left signposted Drewsteignton and Castle Drogo. Keep following this road into Drewsteignton whereupon the property will be found on your left of The Village Square. From Exeter take the A30 Dual carriageway and proceed toward Okehampton & Bodmin. After approximately 7 miles, take the SECOND Tedburn St Mary turn off also sign posted Cheriton Bishop. Proceed through Cheriton Bishop and after about 1 mile turn left, signposted Drewsteignton. General Church View House is a period property converted into three apartments over three floors. The conversion was sympathetically carried out to retain some of the original features. Flat 2 which is positioned on the first floor has original internal doors, high ceilings and picture rails. There are 'non functional' fireplaces in the living room and both bedrooms that have been boarded over but could easily be resorted to offer attractive focal points in these rooms. Bedroom One - 14' 2'' x 12' 10'' (4.308m x 3.916m) Fitted carpet, built in wardrobes to either side of the fireplace, night storage heater and a wash hand basin. Bedroom Two - 15' 11'' x 13' 7'' (4.839m x 4.149m)Maximum measurements given and approximate only due to the irregular shape. An interesting room with a large bay window overlooking the Square and Church. Fitted carpet and a night storage heater. Bathroom - 9' 11'' x 6' 0'' (3.025m x 1.834m) A white suite comprising of a panelled bath with a shower unit over, pedestal wash basin, low level w.c., electric heated towel radiator, fitted carpet.
