SITUATION Park Rise enjoys a wonderful aspect over Oakland Park and is situated in the charming seaside town of Dawlish, which sits on a picturesque stretch of coastline between the estuaries of the Rivers Exe and Teign. Originally a small fishing village, Dawlish blossomed into a thriving coastal town with the coming of the railway in 1846 when Isambard Kingdom Brunel built his famous line from Exeter to Torbay. Nowadays the town has an excellent variety of facilities and amenities including leisure centre and heated swimming pool, public playing fields, tennis court, bowling green, schools and places of worship. There are plenty of maritime pursuits in the locality. The town is surrounded by hills and countryside, which are popular with walkers, cyclists and horse riders. Regular buses and trains allow easy access to Teignmouth, Newton Abbot, Torbay and the cathedral and university city of Exeter to the north. DESCRIPTION 4 Park Rise is well presented and briefly comprises four bedrooms, a generous sitting/dining room, kitchen, utility, ground floor shower room and a family bathroom. DIRECTIONS From Exeter proceed on the A379 towards Dawlish passing through the villages of Kenton and Starcross. Proceed through Dawlish and out onto Teignmouth Hill (A379) towards Teignmouth. After a short distance, turn right onto Coronation Avenue and then left onto Oakland Drive. Continue through the development turning left into Park Rise where the property is situated beyond the garages on the park side.
