A modern fitted and bathroom have been install along with new flooring through the majority of the house and decoration throughout. Also boasting off road parking to the front, double glazing throughout and warmed via gas central heating, early viewing is advised. Situated in a quiet cul de sac of similar properties, the property offers peaceful living and yet still convenient for getting into the town centre and the surroundings countryside. There is an enclosed garden to the rear with access to the side and garage door with electric up and over door to the front. NO ONWARD CHAIN.

The town takes its name from a small chapel built in 1225 by the keepers of the Royal Forest that is now the Church of St Thomas Becket, where 1,500 Scottish soldiers were imprisoned during the Civil War. The historic town center also features a traditional marketplace which still has its original renowned stocks which the local cafe takes its name.
