Vendor's comments - 'We've really enjoyed making 22 Brighton Road our home over the past 10 years it's where my daughter has grown-up & has given us the right space & ambience to expand our lives into. The house has retained its character & period features, several of which I'm pleased we've unearthed or restored whilst also sustaining the fabric of the building so that it is more energy-efficient & suitable for a 21st century family. The log-burners are perhaps my favourite additions in keeping with the personality of the house, but benefitting from present-day fuel-efficient engineering & design.

Despite being in the heart of the city, close to shops, schools, pubs etc. A surprising amount of wildlife makes its way into & through the back garden: foxes, sparrowhawks, sparrows(!), jays, frogs, toads, & even goldcrests which like the Blue Spruce(?) - & of course, the garden robins. We very much hope you enjoy the house as much as we have - & that we can pass it on to someone who will make it their home & add their own touches.'
