WHAT IS SHARED EQUITY/OWNERSHIP:
Shared Equity means that the purchaser only pays 75% of the asking price, and the landlord provides an interest free loan for the remaining 25%. There is no rent to pay on the loan but if you still own the property on the 10th Anniversay, the landlord will be entitled to charge interest on the loan at 1.75% of the remaining percentage, per annum from that date.
