Fenstanton is a large village lying to the south of the river Ouse around 4 miles 6.44 kilometres south of St. Ives and 13 miles 20.92 kilometres north west of Cambridge. On the edge of the village is a small petrol and service station, with a hotel. The village has a pub; The Duchess pub and restaurant serves traditional British food within a 17th century building. Fenstanton has two churches the church of St. Peter and St. Paul and Fenstanton United Reformed Church.
