"Derwent House is a character Victorian family home, believed to date back to circa 1895, set within the heart of Bourne End village. A spacious and handsome family home, there are period features throughout with two large reception rooms and six bedrooms including a potential annexe accommodation on the first floor.

Situation
Located within a level walking distance from the centre of the riverside village of Bourne End, which offers a selection of shops, cafes and services.
There is local schooling at both primary and secondary level within walking distance, and High Wycombe, Maidenhead and Marlow provide private schooling and well regarded grammar schools.
For the commuter the M4 and M40 Motorways are easily accessible, at Maidenhead and High Wycombe respectively. Bourne End railway station is only 0.25 miles away and connects via Maidenhead to London Paddington (approx. 37 minutes). The arrival of the high speed Cross Rail service in 2019 at Maidenhead will greatly enhance commuting to the West End and the City of London. The village of Cookham and the larger riverside town of Marlow are within a few minutes' drive or a pleasant walk along the Thames towpath.
