"This delightful cottage has been lovingly and tastefully restored by the current owners to create a home which if full of both old world charm and contemporary comfort and style. The sitting room is bright and cheerful with a bay window and stripped original beams. The open fireplace is the focal point of the room. It has been swept ready for either a wood burning stove or open gas fire as there is a gas point close by. There are two useful built in cupboards.

The sitting room opens to the kitchen/breakfast room with its comprehensive range of cream fronted base units comprising both cupboards and drawers, with a continuous run of solid wood worktop over with a deep Butler's sink and inset ceramic hob with extractor over. The understairs pantry currently houses the freezer and there are further integrated appliances including dishwasher, fridge, and electric double oven. This sunny room has a breakfast area with attractive outlook to rear. From here there is a door to the garden and stairs to the first floor.

The landing leads to two good sized bedrooms. The master bedroom is particularly light and features an original fireplace with ornate cast iron trim and mantle over and a built in cupboard for storage. The third bedroom has a built in wardrobe.

The contemporary bathroom comprises a panelled bath with shower over with monsoon style shower head, pedestal wash hand basin with mixer tap, close coupled wc and chrome ladder style radiator.

A second set of stairs lead to the pretty and spacious attic bedroom which has good head height and is a really charming room.

A detached outbuilding in the rear garden has been fully equipped as a laundry and utility room. It has space and plumbing for a washing machine, space for a tumble dryer and a good length of worktop with inset stainless steel sink with mixer tap. This room is fully equipped with ample space for laundry and ironing.

The rear garden of this property is a particularly good size for this location and has been beautifully tended and planted with a range of herbaceous plants, annual plants and attractive climbers on pretty trellis enclosing the lawned area. It is a peaceful and delightful place to sit and relax.

There is a path leading from the rear door of the property, around the side of the house to the gateway giving access to the side.

This property has been beautifully refurbished by the current owners and provides a peaceful haven right in the heart of the Old Town with its splendid pubs, restaurants and shops. The current owners will be sorry to leave their home which they have restored to a particularly high standard. They have thoroughly enjoyed living here and making use of all the local facilities including the weekly farmer's market on Tuesdays, the local shops, pubs and restaurants.
