DESCRIPTION
This iconic property is something of a village landmark with its elegant and eye-catching elevations, which are covered with spectacular wisteria during the summer months. The current owners have sympathetically enhanced the accommodation and added a really stunning contemporary kitchen/dining/living room, running the full width of the property and opening out onto the wonderful garden.

Accommodation
The recessed front porch gives access to a large square reception hall with an easy staircase running up the first floor. The charming sitting room lies at the front with exposed polished timbers and a unique bay with an open fireplace. There is a family room with a door opening into the kitchen/diner. This spectacular room really is the hub of the home and delivers that contemporary space which seamlessly integrates with the garden. The kitchen area has a lovely vaulted ceiling with a central roof light bathing the workspace below with natural light. The units which are finished in crisp white with stainless steel furniture, topped with natural oak work surfaces, while the central island has a black granite finish. The whole room being in effect 'T' shaped allows tremendous flexibility, offering enough space to accommodate the largest of dining tables, together with sitting and study areas. Off the kitchen lies a useful utility room and a large cloakroom that also has plumbing laid on for a shower.
On the first floor there is generous landing leading to three double bedrooms and a well appointed family bathroom.

Outside
The front garden is laid to lawn and tucked behind a brick wall with wrought iron gates, leading to a single driveway and garage beyond.
Gated side access leads to the rear garden, which is a real reflection of many years of nurturing, with beautifully stocked beds and borders, mature trees including plum, cherry, apple and pear trees, varied specimen bushes and shrubs, all of which are a profusion of colour. There is a large paved terrace immediately to the rear ideal for outside dining and a large garden shed. The long expanse of lawn leads to the foot of the garden, where it dog legs behind the neighbouring property. This useful section of garden also has a particularly large garden shed which has been re-roofed.
