"EXCEPTIONAL HOME IN AN EXCEPTIONAL LOCATION CLOSE TO RAILWAY STATION.......This is an elegant stylish and well proportioned Edwardian town house. With an outlook over the mature trees in Dobbins Lane locations don't get much better than this. Take a stroll into the village and you will find one of the most attractive High Streets imaginable. There are specialist shops and an antiques arcade and any number of tempting restaurants, pubs and cafes - mostly independent from just a cup of coffee to fine dining. The station is a short walk and you can be at Marylebone Station in just under and hour from closing your front door. Enough of the location, the home itself is fabulous. These houses hardly ever come to the market. The proportions are as elegant as you would expect with lovely high ceilings. Many period features remain which is always welcome. The fire surround is delightful in the sitting room and there are some lovely original doors. The spacious kitchen / breakfast room at the rear of the house overlooking the rear garden has been completely updated. This room is now classy and timeless and so in keeping with the rest of the house. The proportion of the upstairs rooms are really good because of the three storey layout and the outlook over rooftops and gardens is actually rather a joy.
