"The property is a family house, brick built and rendered at first floor level and part stone clad at ground floor. Entrance is through a glazed garden room and the accommodation is bright and airy with large hardwood framed double glazed windows. Many of the rooms are double aspect, giving views out on the village scene. There is a well fitted kitchen and an open plan sitting room/dining room with a fireplace and a sliding patio door to the garden. Upstairs are four bedrooms, the master bedrooom having patio doors to a balcony, and a bathroom with separate shower.

Situation
Quainton takes its name from the old English words Cwen+Tun and means 'The Queen's Farmstead or Estate'. Prominent on the skyline is the 14th Century church which is exceptionally rich in large late 17th and 18th Century monuments.

The centre point of Quainton, looking up towards the 1830 windmill, is the picturesque village green in the middle of which is the 14th Century preaching cross. The village has a general store, a pub/restaurant, a butcher's shop and motor repairs. The surrounding market towns and villages provide a wealth of historical and interesting places to visit including Waddesdon Manor, Claydon House and Quainton Steam Railway. Extensive shopping, leisure and sporting facilities can be found in the locality including the nearby towns of Bicester (including Bicester Village Retail Outlet), Aylesbury and Milton Keynes. Primary schooling can be found in Quainton with a secondary school in Waddesdon and grammar schools in Aylesbury and Buckingham. The A41 provides easy access into Aylesbury, Bicester and the M40 network. Rail connections are fast and convenient on the Chiltern Turbo reaching London Marylebone from Aylesbury Vale Parkway in about an hour. Services to Euston are available from Cheddington and Leighton Buzzard (from 30 minutes).
