House Network are pleased to offer this 1990's four double bedroom detached family home in the village of Quainton. To the front of the property there is off road parking for two cars leading to a double garage and a pathway to the front door with lawn area enclosed by hedges. To the rear of the property there is a large lawn area with two apple trees, there is a patio area and mature plants, shrubs and trees.

The property offers off road parking, double garage, fireplace, double glazing and oil central heating throughout, study, w.c, lounge, dining room, kitchen/breakfast room, utility room, on the first floor there is a family bathroom, four double bedrooms with the master bedroom benefiting from a walk-in wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom.

The property is situated close to local shops, amenities including a church, butchers, village store, motor repairs, post office facility, village hall and two public houses. Extensive shopping facilities are available at the Bicester Village Retail Outlet, the refurbished Friar's Square Centre in Aylesbury, and Milton Keynes.

The centre point of Quainton is the picturesque village green, which looks up towards the 1830s windmill. In the middle of the green is a fourteenth century preaching cross and prominent on the skyline is the fourteenth century church which is exceptionally rich in large 17th and 18th century monuments. The surrounding market towns and villages provide a wealth of historical and interesting places to visit including Waddesdon Manor, Claydon House and Quainton Steam Railway.

Quainton village is situated about seven miles northwest of Aylesbury and about 9 miles east of Bicester. Quainton is in the catchment area of very highly regarded schools with a primary school in Quainton and a sought after Church of England secondary school in Waddesdon, as well as the renowned Aylesbury Grammar School for boys and Aylesbury High School for girls. There are preparatory schools at Ashfold, Swanbourne and Oxford and public schools at Stowe, Berkhamsted and Oxford.

Communication links are good with the A41, and M40 both easily accessible, with Aylesbury and Bicester providing main line stations to London Marylebone or Birmingham about equidistant. A new station is now open at Aylesbury Parkway which is around six minutes drive from Quainton and has regular trains to London Marylebone with a journey time of less than one hour. There is a bus service to and from Quainton during peak travel times connecting with the London trains. There are also plans for future train connections to Milton Keynes and Oxford.

Leisure facilities can be found at sports centres in Aylesbury and Bicester with golf at Buckingham, Horton Cum Studley and Stewkley, racing at Silverstone and an indoor ski slope at Milton Keynes.
