We are fortunate to be tucked away at the back of a cul de sac, with a larger than average plot. Having a family of our own, we have found Finchampstead to be a great place to live with beautiful surroundings and great schools too walking route accessible for primary schools and a beautiful bike ride through the park to get to Bohunt too. There are many highlights of living in our home, but especially having California Country Park directly behind us and having the most kind and caring neighbours, has made our time here the most enjoyable. Our favourite feature of the house is the French doors opening up into our wrap around garden which have enabled us to have friends and family over for BBQs in a peaceful and private setting and allowing plenty of light through throughout the year. The study has been a sought after space to work from and also to house a number of books which suit the avid readers of our family. We have been spoiled by the size of our utility room containing great storage space, a sink and plenty of room to do laundry and ironing too perfect for after school washing! Upstairs, we have been fortunate enough to have a beautiful view of the sunset and often will see horses and cows from the farm too! There have also been moments where we were able to go star gazing and see the Northern lights right on our doorstep! We have used our double garage for storage space, but this may be looked into for other options if desired. We would like to now pass the baton over to the new owners of our home so that they can make many more lovely memories just as we have.

If you are looking for a well proportioned and located, four bedroom home, then look no further. We think this could be the perfect family home as it has been for our sellers who have summed up perfectly why not only is this a great house, but a great location too.
At the front of this home you have a bright and airy entrance hall which leads around to the left into the refitted kitchen. It s been finished really nicely as you can tell from the details with solid stone worktops, integrated built in appliances such as double ovens with warming drawer, dishwasher and even a water softener. It s got plenty of storage but if you need a bit more space then this home has been extended creating a huge utility room with access onto the garden and also a cloakroom. There is also further potential to extend here by going above STP .
To the back, you will find the dining room which is a good size but also creates an ideal opportunity to knock through to the kitchen to create an open plan kitchen diner if you wanted to. You ve also got double doors taking you through to the lounge which again is spacious and has French doors leading onto the garden. No family home would be complete without a separate study which you find at the front, however this could make an ideal playroom.
Upstairs there are four good size bedrooms, with the second bedroom benefiting from built in wardrobes. The master bedroom is one of our personal favourite rooms in this house, not only does it have fitted wardrobes and it s own refitted en suite shower room but we love the dual aspect windows letting in plenty of natural light. The family bathroom again has a superb finish and its worth noting that the hot water tank has been replaced with a high pressure system.
The rear garden as you can tell is not only a great size, but extremely private which is rare to find in an estate location. Wrapping around the house and backing onto the woodland behind, it gives you different areas of sun throughout the day. Whilst to the front you have ample driveway parking for multiple vehicles and a double garage. Homes in this condition and this position rarely become available and especially ones with the benefit of no chain. The home sits tucked in the corner at the back of a quiet cul de sac on a great corner plot and is only a stones throw away from woodland. Just a few minutes walk away you have some great local amenities including the Co op, Pharmacy and some great local places to eat. It also falls within many of the areas popular local school catchments such as Nine Mile Ride Primary School, Gorse Rise Primary and Bohunt Secondary Schools. If you re looking for some open green space to explore or take your dog for a walk, you ve got some great choices locally such as Simons Wood, the FBC Centre and California Country park are all within walking distance. Both the FBC and California Country Park have great playparks and cafes too. Wokingham Town Centre and Train Station is also only a 12 minute drive away with some excellent retailers and places to eat. There are some excellent transport links by car too with easy access to both M3 and M4 motorways via the A329.
