"Situated on a popular tree lined road, within easy walking distance of the town centre and mainline railway station is this beautifully appointed detached family home.

This delightful property has origins that date back to the Edwardian era and today offers a unique blend of period features, such as high ceilings, ornate cornicing and fireplaces married with contemporary fittings. To the ground floor there are four elegant reception rooms comprising of a living room, dining room and kitchen / family room, all of which are generously proportioned and a majority featuring ornate fireplaces. The living room also enjoys access to a conservatory with under floor heating and unobscured views of rear garden. The kitchen/breakfast room is a beautiful modern touch having been tastefully extended and refitted by the current owners. It now affords a comprehensive selection of eye and base level units, complementary surfaces and integrated appliances. The breakfast area offers ample space for a good size table and chairs and flows neatly into a dual aspect family/seating area. There is a separate utility room which provides access to a ground floor shower room with WC and separate boot room. A second cloakroom, which also houses a recently installed 'Vaillant' boiler, is located off the hall and completes the ground floor.

To the first floor there is a study/5th bedroom and four double bedrooms, including the impressive master which features fitted wardrobes which run along one side of the room into an attractive bay window. The guest room enjoys the luxury of an ensuite shower room with the remainder being serviced by a well appointed family bathroom. Upstairs there is a large double aspect bedroom and separate bonus room, currently dressed as a study area. From here access to a boarded loft area with a window and light can be granted.
