The Grove is a small cul-de-sac located very close to the village school. Number 2 is a semi-detached house of red brick elevations under a clay tiled roof with UPVC double glazing. The ground floor bow windows have leaded light to the front. The entrance is at the side. A double glazed door with patterned panels opens into the property. The lobby opens out into the kitchen, which is a spacious area and has a travertine floor with cream coloured units and granite effect worktops incorporating a one and a half bowl sink unit. There is a built-in Hotpoint oven and grill alongside the hob with 5 gas burners with a stainless steel back plate and extractor hood. There is plumbing for both a washing machine and dishwasher and also space for a fridge/freezer. The sitting room has character with a beamed ceiling, wood block flooring and an open fireplace of brick which extends to the exposed chimney breast and hearth. Sliding patio doors lead into the lovely conservatory or dining room, part walls and part wood style UPVC with cast iron radiators, attractive slate floor and doors out to the garden. There is a further downstairs room which could be utilised as a family area but equally a very good size bedroom that has a useful, nicely fitted ensuite shower room. On the first floor are two double bedrooms and a single bedroom. Both doubles have built-in wardrobes and undereaves storage cupboards. The bathroom and WC are separate. The former has a panelled bath, power shower, tiled walls, a wash basin in a counter and corner unit and underfloor heating. Both have travertine flooring. There is a loft space that has a loft ladder. It is fully boarded with a light and Velux window. OUTSIDE The front provides parking for two vehicles and is block paved with granite sets. A planted border runs along between the drive and house. To the rear is a landscaped walled garden compromising flagstones, brick encased flower beds and woodchip. There is an exterior power point, gated access and storage sheds on both sides.
