" This traditional home has the generous proportions and quality associated with the period when materials were plentiful and craftsmanship was the order of the day. Our clients added a conservatory in 2008 and extended to the side in 2011 to create a good-sized kitchen/breakfast room. Consent was granted at the same time to create a family room, utility room and cloakroom. Further improvements have been made skilfully blending its original character with the practicalities of modern day living. Some of these include refitment of the bathroom, a modern gas central heating boiler, updating of the wiring and extensive redecoration. From the moment you step into the wide L-shaped reception hall, it is evident that this home has a lot to offer. The generous sized bay fronted room is a very comfortable room and retains its open brick fireplace. In addition, there is a separate dining room that retains its fireplace and is perfect for formal entertaining being located in the middle of the home and French doors open into the conservatory. The kitchen/breakfast room has been comprehensively fitted with a range of cream fronted cabinets inset with an integrated dishwasher, ceramic hob with a stainless steel cooker hood over and a separate eye level electric double oven. Provision has been made for an American style refrigerator and the central island provides a useful breakfast bar. The former ground floor shower room has been made into a useful utility/cloakroom with plumbing for laundry appliances. The first floor gives access to a large loft space that could be converted into further accommodation (subject to planning consent). All four bedrooms are of a generous size and the fully tiled family bathroom has been beautifully appointed with a modern 4 piece white suite including a separate shower cubical.
