" This lovely home was constructed in 1930 and has the generous proportions and feel of quality associated with the period, including the high ceilings and picture rails. Later extended and given an extensive facelift in 2007, skilfully blending its original character with contemporary design. From the moment you step into the wide reception hall, it is evident that this home has a lot to offer. The generous sized bay fronted room is a very comfortable quiet area to relax and retains its open fireplace with a hardwood surround, cast iron inlay and gas/coal effect fire. A separate dining room that is perfect for formal entertaining is located in the middle of the home and a wide square arch leads into the full width kitchen/breakfast room which is a real show piece with its vaulted ceiling inset with electronically controlled Velux windows and French doors flooding the room with natural light. The comprehensive range of white high gloss fronted units with plinth lighting, provide that contemporary sophisticated look matched with black granite worktops, inset with a stainless steel five burner gas hob with a matching stainless steel and glass cooker hood over and to the side is an eye level electric oven and microwave. The fridge/freezer, drinks fridge and dishwasher are integrated and a central island provides a useful breakfast bar. To complete the uncluttered clean lines there is an under floor heating system and wall mounted flat screen television with concealed wiring. A door leads though to the integral garage that has plumbing for laundry appliances, an electric roller door to the front and personal door to the garden. Completing the ground floor is a beautifully appointed and fully tiled cloakroom with a modern white suite and under floor heating. To the first floor leading off a good-sized landing are four bedrooms, three being double rooms and the main being bay fronted, as well as retaining its corner fireplace.
