" It may not be an exaggeration to say that this could be the perfect property in the perfect location! For a house built at the turn of the century, you would expect character. You have it in bucket loads here. As you enter the hallway, you are immediately greeted by the original fireplace. As you enter the lounge/diner, you will notice the original exposed floorboards and open fireplace with wood burner. Imagine watching a film into a late winter evening huddled round the fireplace. If entertaining is your thing, the lounge/diner gives plenty of space but if more is required then the property was extended to add the kitchen/diner. Having windows on three sides, this room is bright and has plenty of space so the chef in the family will feel well at home. With exposed floorboards throughout the first floor, the character continues and the gleaming white suites in the bathroom and en-suite complete the package inside. The front garden faces south and, as it is greatly secluded, would be a perfect place to have your evening meal or a glass of wine late into the summer evenings. The property has an 80ft driveway and therefore offers plenty of parking. The rear garden would be ideal for hosting a party or just a family BBQ or if more space is required, how about the paddock adjoining the garden? Altogether, ¾ of an acre should suffice!

What the Owner says:

We bought the house mainly because of the outside space and the gardens have played host to many family parties in the past.We extended the house in 2003 which added the master bedroom and kitchen/diner so it’s now a good size house. The Millenium Walk and some fantastic woods are nearby so this is a great area for dog walkers and Rotherfield has a lovely community feel with an active drama group and an 11th century church. There are some lovely views too, so it feels quite rural.
