" Description    The property is situated in a favoured road in Tonbridge and offers good sized family accommodation. The property has been extended and has many features within. The accommodation comprises of an entrance door giving access to a spacious hallway and open porch, there are doors to the lounge and study/family room. The family room is situated to the front aspect and has a doorway through to a cloakroom with a gas boiler and a wall mounted wash hand basin. The lounge is approximately 22ft x 13'6, with leaded windows to front and rear. There is a feature fireplace, exposed timbers to ceiling and a doorway through to the lobby which gives access to the kitchen/breakfast room. The kitchen/breakfast room is of a generous proportion and is triple aspect with windows to both sides and rear, there is also a door to the rear patio area. It has a range of eye and base level units and a space for breakfast table and space for gas range.

.    To the first floor, the master bedroom is situated to the front aspect and has an ensuite with shower cubicle, wash hand basin in vanity unit and low level wc. There are extensive built in wardrobes, two further spacious double bedrooms and a good size single room. Situation    Tonbridge is a thriving market town that has developed over the centuries. It boasts a fine example of a 'Motte and Bailey' Norman castle built in the 13th century, set on the banks of the river Medway with the castle grounds abutting Tonbridge Park offering covered/open air swimming pool, tennis courts, children's play areas, miniature railway, putting etc. Tonbridge town offers an excellent range of retail and leisure activities with many High Street stores and a full complement of banks and building societies, together with a selection of coffee shops, restaurants and local inns. The mainline station provides fast commuter links into London (Cannon Street/London Bridge/Charing Cross in approximately 40 minutes) with road links to the M20 & M25 motorways via the nearby A26 and A21. Tonbridge offers first-rate primary and secondary schools (including Grammars and Public Schools) many of which consistently do well in the league tables.

.    There are many places of historical interest in the surrounding areas including Penshurst Place and Gardens, Hever Castle, Knowle House and Chartwell (once home to Winston Churchill). There are also many fine inns and restaurants in the area and the town itself is served by the excellent and sought after schools both in the state and private sector. Tonbridge School, in the High Street, with its beautiful fa?ade and 150 acre site is one of the leading boarding schools in the country and there are some excellent state Grammar Schools including Tonbridge Girls Grammar and The Weald and The Judd School for boys. Set close to open countryside, there are wonderful riverside and country walks, Hayesden Country Park with lakes for fishing and sailing, and miles of cycle tracks.
