" A detached hamstone bungalow in a beautiful location with outbuildings and paddock in 2.2 acres. Kitchen, living/dining room, utility/boot room, bathroom, cloakroom, 3 bedrooms, garden, outbuildings, paddock.

SITUATION The bungalow is situated in a Conservation Area on the outskirts of the pretty small village of Chiselborough which consists mainly of period stone properties. The village has its own church and public house. Local amenities can be found at nearby Norton-sub-Hamdon, Stoke-sub-Hamdon or Crewkerne which also has a main line station to London (Waterloo). Yeovil and Taunton are the commercial centres for the area with excellent shopping and leisure facilities. The A303 trunk road provides access to the M5 and via the M3 to London. The area is also well served by independent schools at Perrott Hill, Sherborne, Millfield at Street, Hazelgrove, Port Regis and Leweston. Sporting facilities include horse racing at Wincanton, Exeter and Taunton, golf at Sherborne, Bridport and Windwhistle. Local shoots and hunting. Course fishing and water sports on the Dorset coastline, many footpaths and bridleways. DESCRIPTION Springfield is a detached bungalow constructed of hamstone with a tiled roof. The property was originally a farm building converted into residential accommodation in the 1970's using the original hamstone and is now a registered smallholding. OUTSIDE The property is approached over a tarmac drive leading to a parking and turning space in front of the property. Either side of the drive is lawned with mature trees and bushes. Gates lead to a natural spring fed pond and wildlife area and the paddock which is gently sloped with a further access at the end. <br/>A path leads to a terrace with raised borders at the rear of the property, bunded oil tank and on to a tarmac yard at the other side with workshop and two sheds. From the yard steps rise to the upper yard with stone pony stable and further outbuildings including a feed shed, chicken house, large shed with work bench, greenhouse and open fronted tractor store. Take the left turn signposted Chiselborough and follow the signs, pass the public house on the right, ignoring the first left after the village hall follow the road around to the right, take the left fork signposted Odcombe.
