A substantial 1930s detached house situated in a prime, elevated position in Sandgate. The property has spacious, family accommodation and offers scope for expansion and plans were drawn up in 2003 to extend the property over the large double garage to provide an additional bedroom and bathroom.   The property is situated in the sought-after coastal village of Sandgate which offers an exclusive range of antique shops, restaurants, cosy pubs and fashionable bars. The property is within the catchment area of the popular Sandgate Primary school and there are Grammar schools for both boys and girls. Folkestone West train station providing high speed services to central London in less than 1 hour is within walking distance of the property.

Accommodation comprises an attractive porch with 3 steps up to an original oak, arched front door. The hallway has two feature leaded light windows and is of an octagonal shape with access to all rooms, the stairs and has an additional area which may be used as a study. The kitchen has a good range of wall and base units, a breakfast bar, a built-in electric oven with a gas hob and extractor, a 1 1/2 bowl Carron composite granite sink unit, a walk-in pantry cupboard, a useful area ideal for serving meals next to the serving hatch into the dining room and vinyl flooring. There is also a cloakroom/wc to the ground floor and access into the double garage which has plumbing for a washing machine.
To the first floor there is a large master bedroom with double aspect windows offering distant sea views, 2 further double bedrooms and a family bathroom. The bathroom is a good size and comprises a bath with mixer taps and a shower attachment, a separate shower cubicle with a Aqualisa shower, a wc, a wash hand basin, tiled walls, vinyl flooring and an airing cupboard. There is access to an insulated loft space with a pull down ladder and light. The landing has an attractive, feature, long window with coloured glass panels and there are double glazed doors leading out onto a small balcony. The property benefits from gas central heating and double glazing. We also understand the roof was re-tiled and re-felted in 2012 and the garage roof was renewed in 2010.   

Outside there is a driveway providing parking for several cars leading to a double garage measuring 34'9" x 20'7" with an electrically operated door, a door into the garden, a door into the house and has power and light connected. The gardens extend to the front, side and rear of the property and are predominantly laid to lawn with flower and shrub beds.
