" `Marksend House` occupies a superb elevated position on the westerly side of Kerridge Ridge. The views from the front are outstanding, looking over surrounding undulating farmland, across to Alderley Edge, the Cheshire plain and beyond on a clear day. The house stands with a large lawned garden to the front setting it back from the side road upon which it is located.

The house has been subject to a recent updating programme, including the refitting of the kitchen and bathroom.
