THE TOWN OF FORDINGBRIDGE
Fordingbridge is a small but busy town at an historic crossing of the River Avon and on the edge of the New Forest comprising some 2597 properties with a population of approximately 6,000. In Kings Yard the Fordingbridge Museum houses good local history together with the Visitor Information Centre. The parish church of St Mary was mainly built in 1150 and contains some typical Norman characteristics.
