Why you ll like it
Farman Street is nicely tucked away from the hubbub of Western Road, forming a sweet terrace of homes on a quiet, no through road. This house is uniform with its neighbours being fresh in white with a zesty orange front door giving it plenty of kerb appeal. Stepping inside you enter firstly to a vestibule, then into the sitting room on the ground floor where it is immediately apparent that this home has been expertly styled, retaining the original character of the building while keeping abreast of current interior trends. Fawn carpets are paired with soft white walls, creating an open and airy feel with ample space for relaxation by the fire. The house is far more spacious than its sweet exterior implies, and it is naturally light due to an east to west aspect. The generous bathroom can also be found on this floor, so it has easy access from both the kitchen dining room on the lower level and the bedrooms upstairs.

Stepping down to the lower ground floor, the immaculate finish continues through into the kitchen and dining room which are open plan leading seamlessly out to the decked garden which becomes a wonderful extension of the home during summer. It is a fine size for a city space, and it is perfectly low maintenance, ready for the busy Brighton lifestyle.

Inside, the kitchen offers a huge amount of storage and worktops space alongside an integrated oven and hob, while the fridge, washing machine and dishwasher are freestanding. On the other side of the room, there is space for a dining table to seat at least eight, or you can create another seating area or workspace depending on need.

Returning upstairs, passing a cool exposed brick wall, both bedrooms are double with ample space for king size beds and freestanding furnishings without compromising on space. They are also peaceful rooms considering the city is so close by so you can rest easy after a long working week.

Agent s thoughts
Beautifully presented, deceptively spacious and brilliantly located this is a superb house which is ready to move straight into.

Owner s thoughts
It is the palpable sense of community within Brunswick Town which has been the real blessing living here. You really are within the heart of the city, and perfectly positioned to explore the social centres of both Brighton and Hove on foot. You can eat your way around the globe on Western Road, where the social scene is diverse and has a wonderful energy, then you can retreat to the tranquillity of the house. It is very peaceful for somewhere so central, and the garden is a joy on summer evenings.

Brunswick Town was the grand design of renowned architect Charles Busby during the early decades of the 19th Century and was to be a new town for all levels of society, built around the regal townhouses of Brunswick Square. The lattice of streets surrounding the square show a prevalence of the local vernacular style, and the homes within them were built to house the residents who served this bustling community. Two hundred years later, this area remains just as desirable. Even the retailers, theatres, eateries and people have remained the same a fabulous mixture of stylish, diverse, and creative folk, loving life by the sea. Busby himself could not have wished for more.

The proximity to both Brighton Mainline Station and Hove Station will also appeal to commuters, and the schools are among the best in the city.
