"Page & Co are absolutely delighted to bring this exquisite family home in Westbrook to the market. The current owners have completely transformed what was once a modest bungalow into a striking contemporary yet elegant home which offers versatile living accommodation over both floors. There is an integral annexe which has the potential to have it`s own access, making this the perfect home for multigenerational living or those who want to earn extra income. Less than a mile from Westbrook`s sandy bay and the beautiful Sunken Gardens, the annexe would make an excellent holiday let.

The build was finished in 2021 and the owners have incorporated a host of traditional features, such as natural stone cladding and a tile hung fa?ade with all of the comfort and luxury of a modern family home.

This attractive property sits in an imposing position behind double gates at the end of Meadow Road, a quiet and friendly cul-de-sac with a neighbourly feel. The gravelled frontage is suitable for multiple vehicles and has access to both sides of the property.

The front door opens into a bright and welcoming inner lobby with a door giving you internal access to your garage. A second door welcomes you into a spacious entrance hallway where you have stairs rising to the first floor. Continuing down the hallway, a door straight ahead welcomes you into an inviting double aspect lounge featuring an impressive brick hearth and wood burner. A set of French doors either side open into the garden, allowing plenty of natural light to flood in. To the right of the hallway, a door leads to an impressive dining room with an ornate feature fireplace and large bay windows, an ample space to seat all of the family at Christmas time!

The primary bedroom is located on the ground floor and is adjacent to the dining room. It is a striking and elegant room made bright by a beautiful bay window. There are two built-in wardrobes and the stylish log burner style electric stove creates a cosy, warm atmosphere. A door to the back of the bedroom opens out to a private courtyard area to the rear and there is a large en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower and separate bath.

Now moving to the left of the house, the hallway leads to a beautiful country-style family kitchenbreakfast room where you have a traditional aga and a pantry cupboard. The kitchen is fitted with a range of cream coloured units with a wood-effect worktop and a classic farmhouse range cooker. Finishing off the farmhouse style, there is a wooden stable door leading out to the rear garden. Off of the kitchen, there is also a WC which has a traditional toilet and freestanding wash basin.

On the first floor, a landing separates the main house from the integral annexe. To the right, the landing leads to a magnificent family bathroom, two double bedrooms and a large airing cupboard. The family bathroom is bright, contemporary and relaxing. It has a large walk-in shower and a gorgeous traditional freestanding bath. The largest of the two double bedrooms has built-in wardrobes and a beautiful wooden door leading to a secret and very charming WC.

The annexe has an open plan kitchen living area with grey wood effect laminate. The kitchen has matching wall and base units with space for a freestanding oven, fridgefreezer and a washing machine. A door leads to a spacious double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. There is a section of
the bedroom where the stairs would rise to should someone wish to put a staircase in to create separate access. There is also another small room off of the living area which would make an ideal office or dressing room.

Outside, there is a lovely rear garden which is mostly laid to lawn and has an attractive gravelled area for outdoor dining and relaxing in the sunshine. There is a large shed in the corner of the garden as well as two further sheds to the side of the property. There is access to the front of the property by either side and there is an outside brick-built WC, ideal for party guests in the Summer.

The location is perfect for those wanting to be close to the seaside and local amenities. The beautiful Westbrook Bay is one of the quieter beaches nearby where you can stroll along it`s vast expanse of sand or take a dip in the sea. There are good primary schools closeby as well as excellent secondary schools including the Chatham & Clarendon Grammar School. The property is located around a mile from either the Westgate-on-Sea train station or Margate station where you can catch the high speed to London.
