OPEN HOUSE, 1pm to 2pm, Saturday, 5th April 2014. Calling all commuters! Three main line train stations (Sevenoaks, Bat and Ball and Dunton Green) could be within one mile of your front door. A dream come true? This beautifully bay fronted 1930's semi detached house has been a much loved family home for many years and only comes to the market today due to a relocation. The property is separated from the road by a long 80ft front garden giving not only privacy, but a quieter atmosphere and more outdoor space for entertaining or hobbies including gardening, a few of the neighbours have very healthy looking vegetable patches! At the back of the house is an even longer 120ft mature rear garden with approximately ten fruit trees and/or bushes including Apple, Pear, Plum, Gooseberry, Raspberry and Blackberry. Think of those summer pies and crumbles! For those who wish to seek solace from the rest of the world, need a separate hobby area or ancillary guest accommodation there is a large wooden cabin with 2'' thick walls shipped in directly from Finland at the end of the garden with power and light. Inside, a bright entrance hall with stairs leading to the first floor greets you, the sitting room is next door, benefiting from a feature gas fire place and curved double glazed bay window illuminating the room with natural daylight. At the end of the entrance hall is a large modern open plan kitchen/diner stretching the full width of the house with integrated gas hob, electric cooker, and has space for a washing machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. This well thought out space has double doors opening up to a conservatory at the rear allowing a natural extension of the dining area should you need to entertain a large group but could also act as an extra reception space or play room. Leading from the conservatory is a raised decked area, ideal for the summer BBQs. Our vendor loves to observe the garden from the conservatory, in particular the pretty fish pond with delicate water feature and the views of the wildlife reserve about 100 meters to the rear of the garden. Upstairs is a family bathroom with a white three piece suite, two double bedrooms and a third smaller bedroom. The loft has been 'double insulated', is boarded, has an electricity supply and can be accessed from the landing via the drop down ladder. Should you require further storage space then the area under the conservatory is dry and easily accessible. The property is situated in a convenient location for local shops, the Sainsburys Superstore is also close by in Otford Road. Sevenoaks High Street with its comprehensive range of shopping and leisure facilities is situated approximately 1.4 miles away. EPC Grade D
