    Main Description
    An 18th century cottage attached to another cottage at the rear that sits in gardens of approximately third of an acre in the beautiful and peaceful valley of Pontsmill. This is an ideal location being close to the A390 with easy access to Lostwithiel and Par and a short drive to Fowey. The gardens are in two main parts one side of the cottage is lawned with lots of mature trees providing privacy and the other side incorporating a greenhouse, vegetable patch off road parking, garage (presently used as a workshop), and outbuildings. Inside the cottage is full of character with exposed stone walls and a large stone fireplace with granite lintel. Downstairs there is the sitting room, conservatory with views on to the garden, kitchen and a snug or playroom. Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a bathroom and a separate cloakroom. As previously mentioned this house is full of character with exposed stonework, beams and floor boards in a number of rooms. The house has its own septic tank as well as it's own water supply from a bore hole with the relevant ultraviolet cleaning equipment.

    Pontsmill is located between Lostwithiel and Par, and is a short drive from Fowey. It is a peaceful location, in the Luxulyan valley, with its great walks, cycle ways and is a world heritage site. Lostwithiel is a historic town, located at the tidal reach of the river Fowey, and approximately five miles from Fowey. Originally a port, and the capital of Cornwall, it is now a bustling town famous for many antique shops and has a mixture of independent shops, restaurants, pubs and hotels. The Fowey river meanders through the town, and there is a 12th Century castle and Golf and Country Club. Lostwithiel has a mainline train station with direct access to London, and the A390, providing easy car access in and out of Cornwall."
