Have you ever dreamt of building your own home? Well our vendor did, and the stunning Birchwood House was created! Approached via a set of electric gates with a secure entry system, a long gravelled driveway leads you past a piece of land to your right, the renovated stable block/storage and car port and towards the property; which rises out over the garden standing impressively to be seen. You can either continue towards the detached double garage, with remote controlled doors for easy access, or leave your vehicle outside on the expansive parking area. Once inside and in the entrance hall, your gaze is immediately drawn to the immense, beautiful main living area. The stunningly fitted and designed 'Siemens' kitchen features ample storage space with state of the art appliances and fittings. The thought that has gone into the design is amazing, from a vented downdraft pop-up extractor to save space and an eye sore to a built in coffee machine to enjoy your mornings in the breakfast area and the built in wine fridge to award you with your favourite tipple in the evenings. The kitchen area also features two built in ovens and a microwave grill, 'Bosch' integrated fridge and freezer, dishwasher, pop up plug points on the breakfast bar and a Corian sink with both regular and filtered hot/cold taps. The separate utility room also features an integrated washer/dryer. Further into this amazing space, the feeling of grandeur continues. The limed oak flooring benefits from under floor heating, with its different personalised zones for each area of living space. There are four sets of bi-folding doors, leading out onto the wrap around terrace area, and once opened they create effortless 'inside/outside' living during the warmer months. Further light bathes the space with the remote controlled solar velux windows.Continuing around the property, the vaulted family room, with the same flooring and velux windows as the main living area and entrance hall, gives another dimension to family living and allows access to three of the bedrooms - the fourth, the master, being accessed from the entrance hall at the front of the property. All four bedrooms are lain with beautiful carpets and all offer separate dressing areas and their own stunningly designed en suite shower rooms. One of the bedrooms has its own spectacular feature of a freestanding stone bath in the bedroom itself on separate tiled flooring as well as the more private en suite. Instead of your guests traipsing through your bedroom, there is a handy separate WC available from the entrance hall. As well as various storage cupboards throughout, there is one large boiler/utilities 'cupboard' which houses the 'Grant' oil fired boiler and the rest of the household master control systems. This magnificent property is matched only by the exquisitely manicured exterior immediately surrounding. The vast terrace area has been laid with large Indian sandstone tiles, which are designed to avoid water build up, and leads down to the gentle sloping lawns - perfect for children to create their own make believe world and set out on adventures amongst the secure and private grounds. Above the garage, via the quirky spiral staircase is another room, a gem of a hideaway or study! Back to the front of the plot is the renovated detached stable block with sloped access one side and secure storage space with potential for further conversion to a gym. With the property sitting in a rural setting roughly 1.25 acres, a peaceful and rewarding lifestyle is to be had at Birchwood house. Henfield village is only a short distance away which hosts a wonderfully vibrant community and atmosphere. There are plenty of shops and inns as well as the leisure centre, local sporting clubs and of course, the highly reputable local schools and colleges. Being within easy access to both the A24 and A23 - and in turn the M23, Gatwick Airport and London itself - you are not far from the surrounding areas and even further afield, should you work out of the local area. Henfield sits just outside of the stunning South Downs National Park yet still benefits from the beautiful scenery, countryside & walks."
