" Larch Chalet , represents an excellent opportunity to purchase a delightful holiday home set on the outskirts of the village of Contin, convenient to local amenities and providing a good central base for exploring the rest of the Highlands.In good order throughout, this Swedish style A-Frame chalet benefits from double glazing and electric night storage heating.Providing an excellent holiday home, the accommodations consists of the entrance hall, which gives access to the principal rooms, access to the loft space and a large built-in storage cupboard. There is an open plan L-shaped lounge/dining area through to the kitchen with patio doors opening to a timber decked area to the front and the kitchen has been fitted a range of wooden wall and base units and is well equipped with electric ceramic hob, electric oven, extractor fan and fridge. There are two double bedrooms and bathroom fitted with white three piece suite comprising of WC, wash hand basin and bath.The chalet is situated on the outskirts of the village of Contin where there is a local shop and filling station with a wide range of amenities at the nearby Victorian Spa Village of Strathpeffer (four miles distant). Strathpeffer is renowned as a tourist location and as such has a number of hotels. In addition, the square provides a general store, gift shop and bicycle shop. The former Victorian Railway Station building includes a caf? and tourist offices are situated nearby. Further amenities including a Primary School, Secondary School and Doctors Surgery are located in Dingwall. The renovated Spa Pavilion has developed the reputation for art and has played host to a number of musical events in addition to plays, local amateur dramatic performances and community events, catering for a diverse range of tastes and preferences and the Red Poppy Restaurant offers an excellent dining experience.Inverness City, the capital of the Highlands is approximately 17 miles distant and offers a wealth of shopping, leisure and entertainment facilities and enjoys excellent links to the South via road, rail and air.
