Location
Foggathorpe is a village on the A163 road in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The village is situated approximately 14 miles from York, 9 miles from Selby and 8 miles from Market Weighton.
Foggathorpe used to have its own railway station on the Selby to Driffield Line, and the site of the dismantled railway track runs to the south of the village. The nearest train service is now about ten minutes' drive away at Howden station, from which one can travel to London Kings Cross. A bus service through Foggathorpe transports children to local schools & York.
