" A beautiful Grade II listed period house believed to date back to the 1700's lavished with original features one would expect from a home of this era. Most rooms display an abundance of exposed wall and ceiling beams plus latched internal doors. This charming and quirky cottage comprises a labyrinth of characterful accommodation consisting of a large reception hall with a fireplace feature, spacious sitting room with inglenook fireplace, a separate dining room and steps leading up to the kitchen and study. The superb kitchen /breakfast room is fitted with a range of rustic style cupboards, a Belfast sink, recently serviced Rayburn and a large walk-in larder cupboard. Adjacent to the kitchen is a large utility room also with a Belfast sink and door to the rear, a separate laundry room and a cloakroom. On the first floor there are four very good size bedrooms with built -in cupboards, all of which enjoy pleasant views over the adjacent cricket green. The master bedroom has a large en-suite bathroom whilst the second bedroom has access to a Jack and Jill bathroom. The part galleried landing also has a deep eaves storage and large airing cupboard.

To the front there is a cottage garden and pathway leading to the front door. To the side is a driveway and double gates leading to a further area of hardstanding to the side and the detached barn.
