" There are many aspects to this home that will intrigue and impress. There is a distinct Arts & Crafts feel to the design of the home and the change in level between the front half and rear gives the impression of a surprise around every corner.
The general decoration and style is bright and fresh with plenty of period features synonymous with this era of architecture. The home makes the most of the natural sunlight and no more so than in the kitchen garden room that is the natural attraction of the home. It is easy to imagine spending vast amounts of time either sitting peacefully or entertaining your guests. The location is convenient for the City as the centre is not more than a 15 minute walk, the grammar schools Canterbury is famed for are also in the near vicinity which is why this area is particularly popular for families. Links to London are within reach, the train to Victoria is not far and the fast train line to St Pancras is at Canterbury West. You often see commuters cycling or walking in the morning.A particular benefit that makes this property interesting is the fact that it has a garage, which is rather rare to say the least. The benefit of getting your car off the road is almost priceless for some buyers.

What the Owner says:

We fell in love with this house when we first walked in the door due to its traditional features and fantastic social space set around the kitchen and garden room.
Outside, it has a garden where the children are safe and secure and can play all year round. As the house faces south east we have bright daylight in the house all day streaming in the bay window in the morning and in the sun room in the afternoon. It’s also only ten minutes’ walk from the centre of Canterbury, perfect for local shops and schools.
