Stainton Village lies approximately 1? miles to the north east of Barnard Castle. A linear village surrounded by open countryside, it provides both tranquillity and community yet is ideally placed for the commuter. The historic market town of Barnard Castle provides a range of shopping, educational and recreational facilities and there are many renowned beauty spots close at hand.
