" Situated on the outskirts of one of Somerset's most sought after villages this former farm cottage boast some of the most spectacular views I have seen. The cottage has been fully modernised in the last 15 years with a 2 storey extension and development of attic space. The accommodation comprises of a front porch, entrance hall which leads to a wonderful open plan kitchen/diner/living area great for modern family living complete with the essential wood burning stove. Beyond this there is a lovely west facing conservatory that runs the full width of the house offering views of the garden and over the Batcombe Vale towards Glastonbury Tor. There is also a sitting room on the ground floor with double glass doors opening in to the conservatory. On the first floor you will find three double bedrooms, family bathroom and office. Stairs lead up to the second floor which consists of a spacious attic bedroom to the left with windows both sides allowing the morning and afternoon sun light in and making the most of the incredible views. To the right is a storage room and door leading to eaves storage. Externally there is a sheltered front garden which is very private and also provides plenty of off road parking. To the rear the garden extends to over 100ft and is westerly facing, it is mainly laid to lawn with mature flowerbeds and trees. There are patio areas for dining and a wild flower area. The garden again benefits from the for mentioned views and backs on to open farmland. This wonderful cottage has so much to offer and would make the perfect family home. EPC = E. "
