Faulkland has a pub, church and Lavender farm with a tea room. The village is served by a bus service to Frome: and to Radstock (with connections to Bath) and Midsomer Norton. There is also a bus every hour to Norton St Philip and Frome. Schooling is available in nearby Norton St Philip and also Hemington (one and a half miles) with the market towns of Frome and Midsomer Norton all within 10 miles.The Georgian city of Bath lies also approximately 10 miles providing an easy daily commute.

The house is currently undergoing some redecoration but will not be presented in pristine condition throughout.
