DIRECTIONS The property is most easily located by leaving our office in Painswick in the direction of Cheltenham on the A46. Leave the village of Painswick and continue for several miles passing the Royal William public house on your left hand side and then turning right signposted to Cranham and then first right signposted to Cranham Village. Continue down through the village and up the other side turning right at the top of the hill where the driveway to The Bungalow can be found as second property on your left. LOCATION The essence of Cranham is its location, conveniently close to both Gloucester and Cheltenham and good road and rail links to the rest of the country. Cranham is set in a spectacular wooded valley whose flanks are a blaze of colour in the spring and summer months. It has a primary school, pub, church and cricket ground so is a typical English village with a friendly community spirit. Cranham is about 2 hours from London by road and from nearby Stroud Station it is just over 90 minutes into London Paddington by train. Junction 12a of the M5 motorway is about 10 minutes away for accessing Bristol or Birmingham and both cities have International airports. Nearby Painswick ' the jewel of the Cotswolds' is very pretty with good local services and an 18 hole golf course, there are three major supermarkets in Stroud including a Waitrose and superb shopping in Cheltenham. Another popular attraction of living in Cranham is instant access to lovely countryside - Cranham Common is on the doorstep and the fact there is such a wide choice of different schools for all abilities within a practical distance in both the state and private sectors.
