" The White House is a substantial family home located in quiet countryside approximately 5 miles from Henley. The house benefits from high ceilings throughout, several formal reception spaces, a large family living room, a kitchen dining room and five bedrooms, two with ensuite. EPC Rating D.
LOCAL INFORMATION
Kingwood is a well placed and pretty area approximately 5 miles to the west of Henley. Henley on Thames is a charming and famous riverside market town within 10 miles of Reading, 35 miles of Central London and 25 miles from Heathrow. The towns offers an excellent variety of shops ranging from high-street chains to independent boutiques. There are numerous coffee shops and many restaurants offering an array of cuisines. Every summer the town hosts the world famous Royal Regatta followed by the Henley Festival and Rewind Festival. State Primary schools include Trinity (OFSTED Outstanding), Sacred Heart, Badgemore and Valley Road, plus Gillotts secondary school, and the Henley College. Fee paying schools include Rupert House and St Marys Prep, and there are buses to Shiplake College, The Oratory, Reading Blue Coat, Moulsford (boys), Wycombe Abbey and Queen Anne's School, Caversham

(girls). Henley is surrounded by lovely countryside, dominated by the Chiltern Hills to the north of the town.
ACCOMMODATION
The ground floor entrance lobby is double height with a chandelier and provides access to the formal living spaces. There is a well appointed drawing room with a bay window, open fireplace and doors to the garden. The formal dining room is equally spacious and also offers access to the garden. OUTSIDE SPACE
The gardens wraps around the house, providing various points of interest as well a number of seating areas. There is a large patio accessed from the drawing and dining rooms, and a small side patio from the utility room. The garden is mainly laid to lawn, but well stocked with plants, trees and shrubs. There is a garage and gravel driveway parking. The house may be accessed via a path around the garden from the driveway or a pretty garden gate to the front.
